This weeks challenge was "bundled up". I'm excited I actually have a photo to enter in this challenge. In Georgia the snow and bundling up is quite rare!
A lesson to be learned is that beauty is in the eye of the beholder, or the one behind the camera. I tend to find the simpliest of things to be some of the prettiest.
This morning, with a sweet little voice, Miss LB asked "Mommy, can we please have a picnic on the hill today?" I answered yes because who could resist, but was afraid it was going to rain. Luckily we only had a few drops and it turned out perfect. As they say, anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain!
Well the logo is finally finished. I have been playing with it and tweaking it for a while now. I am ready to finally attach a signature to some pictures. It's something I have struggled with because I think you should be "good enough" to sign a picture, but I have to start somewhere, right? I'd love to know what you think, good or bad!
I bought this chair at an antique mall and recovered it. Miss LB knew that I got it for pictures so she insisted that she be the first person photographed in it and I could not resist!
I spent a fun afternoon on the farm Saturday with Sarah and Kate. I did not lack for entertainment in the least. This little girl will keep you laughing and running! When we planned this afternoon it was to take pictures of Sarah, but after watching the way she is with her Mama, I had to get her in the pictures too! I hope they enjoy them as much as I enjoyed taking them!
I think I must, by far, have the easiest child on earth to photograph (sort of). I don't know if she's just so used to the camera or if I just love looking at her. It helps that she is the "prettiest little girl in the whole wide world", but I manage to get shots where I know exactly what she was saying at the time. I suppose if someone took one of me photographing her they would say "OMG, she loves that little girl" and that would be an understatement!
I am a Mother to one fabulous little girl. I love being a Mom more than anything. I have loved taking pictures since I was a little girl. Being a Mom made me appreciate the abilty of others, as well as my own, to capture those precious moments that will soon be gone forever.
